      Hi wozjaztim,

That’s a biggie! There’s no reason why we couldn’t develop the technology to live on the moon or a planet like Mars – or even one of the moons of the larger plants like Jupiter and Saturn. But whether this will ever happen depends on whether it’s worth it – compared to living on Earth, living on another planet or moon where there is no atmosphere, no native life, and extremely harsh conditions, could be a real grind! (But it’s a great dream…)

Hi Wozjaztim, i’m going to think on this question a bit…In the mean-time I’ll suggest that it might be a bit crowded up there on the moon. Have you heard about this famous hoax (http://en.wikipedia.orgwiki/Great_Moon_Hoax)? This is why it’s important to take most of what you read in the papers with a pinch of salt.

I like to think so, the main barriers, I believe, would be temperature, atmosphere (gases and pressure), gravity and of course transport!

Amongst others… now I’m thinking food.

I think we’ll get there one day; either out of necessity or just curiosity.
