• Question: Why Is It That Some People Enjoy Watching Childrens TV Programmes Even When They Know They Are Too Old For Them??

      I think they often look back on their childhood fondly and TV programmes often brin g back memories.

      Plus Children’s TV has to be be smartly designed and interesting if it’s to engage children so sometimes it sucks adults in as ell.

      Oh come on septembersunshine, you never get too old for children’s TV 😉

      Seriously, this is partly to do with nostalgia – reliving the past (I recently bought the DVD’s of Grange Hill – a kids program that was all the rage in the 1980’s – because it brought back good memories). But also, some kids programs are really, really good.

      I also think that a good program is a good program – irrespective of which age group it’s made for.
