      Hi samjoeliam,

I’ve got a really soft spot for the Isle of Arran in Scotland – went there straight after my A levels for some walking, and have been going back ever since.

I have a suspicion that Andrew L might be from there – we should ask him…

Hi samjoeliam….My fav place is 90 mile beach on New Zealand and is where I went to on my honeymoon. Green lipped mussels grow there and they are yummy!!! 🙂

Hello samjoeliam. I love the island of Islay. It is famous for its distilleries (whisky) and its bird-life. It is rugged, beautiful Scotland at its best. I proposed to my wife on a beach at sunset there (I’d been drinking a little) but i don’t regret it.

Well samjoeliam, I think as long as it’s got trees and grass and some water; river/lake or anything, birds and other animals – I’ll be happy!

I went to the lake district last year and that was amazing.

When I’m back in London, I like to go to Regent’s Park.

I’m a country person at heart, I think, and there’s nothing like the feeling of standing on a big hill/mountain and surveying an impressive landscape. We’re animals after all, and I think being stuck in grey concrete smelly cities for too long is bad for us!

I don’t think that I have a single favourite place but I love the outdoors and having the opportunity to explore Dartmoor and Exmoor. At the moment I am in the Rockies, Canada and I am hoping to see some exciting plants and animals – today I ahve already seen a Marmot!
