      Hi elmo97,

Tricky one that. I like willow trees – especially weeping willows.

Elmo, this is ideally suited to Emma. i look forward to hearing her wax lyrical on her bestest leafy chum!

I have a fondness for dandelions. Not just because you can make wishes with them.

Did you know they are called ‘piss the bed’ because their roots are potent diuretics? A diuretic causes you to pass more water and we use them in medicine to help people with heart failure and high blood pressure (diuretics not dandelions).

They are called dandelions from the french dents-de-lions or lion’s teeth which i gruess implies that lions don’t have very good dentition.

      Hello

My favourite plant is the Pasque flower

because it is pretty and delicate. It flowers around easter time.

This web site is also useful for looking up a range of different plants and I would highly recommend it
