      Hi cyberguy,

      Wear gloves, a lab coat and goggles, use the chemical in a fume cupboard if necessary, and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS (or what pass for instructions for working safely with a particular chemical).

      Oh, and don’t do anything stupid 🙂
