I’m technically a biologist; a molecular biologist, biochemist, geneticist…I never really know what to call myself to be honest.

      Hi jellybean11,

Of course physics – that was my first love. But what I’m really interested in these days is areas where different parts of science come together in unusual and exciting ways. For instance, there’s a researcher here in the US who is engineering viruses to build new materials – is that biology, physics, chemistry, or a weird mashup of all three? Whatever, its pretty cool!

Hiya jelly bean and stilton joints. I’m interested in mainly biology with some chemistry thrown in.

I think you’ll find most people do a bit of both. Though some are purists…Which areas are you interested in?
