Probs decaffeinated coffee at the moment. We’ve got a machine that makes coffee using wee capsules and my son keeps making me coffee with the decaffeinated capsules ‘by accident’. As I’m addicted to caffeine this makes me quite grumpy by mid-morning….

      Hi adrianfear and hellomynameisbeth,

So many to choose from… Windows 97, mobile phones, gas guzzlers, nuclear bombs, chemical and biological weapons, microwave egg poachers (don’t ask!), aeroplane meals, business suits (and school uniforms), baseball… I think I’d better stop!

Actually, the truth is that apart from weapons, most (but not all) poor inventions don’t survive, because people just don’t buy products that use them.

But I still don’t understand why people put up with nasty, plasticky, badly designed mobile phones! (Cool phones like the iPhone ecxepted 🙂 )

Possibly those CO2 horns that people let off at football matches behind you, deafening you.

      Or something equally irritating.
