elmo97, I see you winning this student award!! So many questions.

      I think, passing my degree.

There was a point where I thought “what am I doing?! How am I ever going to finish this?” but in the end, I got my first (like an A; 70% or above first class, 60-70 is a 2:1, 50-60 is a 2:2 and so on) and I felt like I’d earned it!

Sometimes it was tough but I definitely wouldn’t change my university time for anything.

      Hi elmo97,

Goodness – I’m not sure! I’m going to wimp out of this one and say that it’s probably too early to tell, and it’s probably better that someone else decides what’s important and what isn’t!

But so I don’t completely side step the question – something I’m very glad I had the chance to do is not research, but helping people understand the implications of research – and this is the occasions that I’ve been asked to testify before Congressional subcommittees in the US. Here, I had a small chance to help people at the top of the US government make informed decisions that were related to my work.

      Hi elmoid the question droid,

Difficult question. I suppose it has to be getting married and having a wee son. I think if you can build a loving family around you the world is your oyster.

Though oysters always make me vomit. Which is interesting because no matter how true that last statement was it is undoubtedly quite nausea-inducing.

      Hello

Tricky question! Though my reply is not all work related though. Personally I think that it is very important to be happy and healthy and this will help you deal with a lot of which life will through at you. So for me this is meeting my husband which is very soppy!
