      Hi elmo97,

A healthy balance between the two is most important I think, although my family would tell you I don’t know what I’m talking about!

Actually, what is most important is doing what you enjoy, and what makes your life and that of other people better. We have to make money to live. But there should be a lot more to life than making money.

Getting a good work/life balance is important. If you work so hard that you never get to know your family you’ve probably blown it. if you jump from one rubbish job to another just to finance your leisure activities eventually you’ll stop enjoying those activities or something (like an injury) will take them away and what will be left?

As with all things you’ve got to get a balance that takes care of your loved ones and keeps you sane.

      Hey elmo

I don’t really think one is more important than the other – both together are required to have a balanced, healthy life!
I couldn’t live without my leisure time. Different people are happy to do much more work than others – I always remember my mum saying
“Not enough hours in the day!”
when I was little and thinking that was a silly thing to say.
      But she’s absolutely right!

I love video games but I just don’t have the time to sit down and really get into them any more 🙁
What I hope is that over time I’ll get better at managing my time so I can fit in most of the stuff I want to do – both at work and outside. Enjoy the long evenings after school – you’ll miss them, I know I do!!
