I studied medicine and then did an intercalated BSc in biochemistry (In some medical courses you get the opportunity to study a science in more depth). I’m sort of back at university now doing a PhD but officially I’m an employee.

Are you thinking about what you might do at University/ whether you’ll go? I would recommend it and I would also recommend Edinburgh University.

My BSc (bachelors degree) was in Biochemistry and Genetics, at the University of Nottingham – which is a fantastic place and I’d recommend everyone thinking of applying to make it their first choice! Brilliant time I had there, really fun city, great uni.
