      Hi elmo97,

Tempting to go off and live somewhere else… but no, I think I would carry on with my work ‘cos it’s what I enjoy doing!

(but I might buy myself a decent card and a stonking Hi Fi system!)

I’d keep going with the work definitely. If I won the lottery and then bet it all on a long-odds horse and won I’d set up my own lab somewhere beautiful with smart, skilled assistants to do all the work. This is an indication of how expensive it is to run a research institution (Millions)

I’d kick back and dream up new theories and experiments and then occasionally do an experiment just to keep my hand in. Pretty much like being a professor actually (without the money worries).

      Hi again elmo97,

      I don’t know actually!
It’d be interesting to see how I felt if I no longer needed to work for money. I like to think I’d still be in science somehow, but I couldn’t say for sure.
I’d definitely want to travel if not settle somewhere else (but I much prefer cool weather to really hot!!).

I’d keep up with scientific progress even if I weren’t still working in the field.
