      Ah, alexonthemoon27, you’re back!
How are those friends of yours 😉

Well, if I knew what I wanted to invent… I probably would!!

Actually, something I mention quite a lot is having a device in all your favourite belongings that you can call from a phone, so that it makes a noise – so when you lose it, you can find it again.

You know when you lose your mobile, you say to someone ‘please ring it!’ – sometimes I find myself thinking that about other things, like my camera, just for a second… until I realise that’s stupid. But someone should definitely invent that.

Then there are the usual things; jetpacks, Star Trek stuff: transporters (I’d love to be able to get somewhere instantly), replicators (any food you can imagine, now!), holodecks.

      Hi alexonthemoon27,

A new way to get energy easily and cheaply from sunlight. Getting enough renewable energy to sustain the way we like to live – and to support further development – is a major challenge.

Hello alexonthemoon recognise you from the chat (your teacher was worried about your questions).

I would like to invent a rapid, inexpensive, full-body functional and pictorial scanning machine that has no side-effects for the person being scanned. Then I would put every patient who came to hospital through it and know a great deal about them very quickly. Of course it would still be important to speak to them about the problem but it’s easier to do that from an informed position.

      How about you?
