I’d be a modern day Sherlock Holmes. His author was a medical student in Edinburgh (Arthur conan-doyle)which is a good start in my book. Sherlock Holmes was marvellous at assessing evidence, maverick in his methods but usually ultimately successful. Sounds like a good recipe for career success to me.

I’d probably have to avoid the opiate abuse, quasi homo-erotic relationship with Watson (did you see the film?)and the periods of dark depression.

      Hi apjk03,

I actually quite like being me 🙂

But sometimes I think it would have been interesting being around about 150 years ago or so, when a lot of exciting new discoveries were being made – and I love some of the intricate instruments that scientists made and were using in the late 19th century.

      Hey apjk03,

One of the great mysteries of life is ‘how do other people perceive the world?’ – we’ll never know!

I’m not sure really. Sometimes I think a famous singer, but then I wouldn’t want the press taking photos of me randomly – I like my privacy. Same for anyone famous actually.

Sometimes I think I’d love to be really rich – but then how would I know who my friends really were? Quite often when you have loads of money, people try to take advantage of you, or people just pretend to be your friend because you’re in the ‘right circle’. I like knowing that my friends are genuine and actually care about me.

I think, even though I get a bit depressed sometimes, my life is pretty good. I shoud try to be grateful for it!
Actually, one of my favourite quotations goes:

‘Contentment is not the fulfilment of what you want; it is the realisation of how much you already have’.

Bit Buddhist perhaps, but I’d like to be more like that 🙂

      Hello

Another tricky one. I did spend a lot of my younger years wishig I was somebody else but as ou get older you realise that you only have one opportunity to do all the things you want to do. So my advice is live life to the full and seek all the opportunities you need to be able to fulfill some of these dreams

Hi apjk03…someone who didn’t worry so much…oops sorry, you meant someone famous? I would have like to have been Queen Elizabeth I as she was quite a feisty lady who knew what she wanted and got what she wanted when she needed to…….I wouldn’t have minded being Kate from Lost either as she got to kiss losts of dishy men and then did a bit of fighting too!:)
