There are three different types of plants

      self pollinators

      wind pollinators (all grasses)

      out-crossing pollinators.

Bees play a vital role for the last set as without the bees moving from one flower to the next, these plants would not be able to produce seeds or reproduce. Some of the food we eat are from plants which are out-crosses (beans, almonds to name a few), so without the bees we would also loose a food supply which would not be good news!
