      Hi cabbage.

I’m currently 2 and a half years into my course. That started after I finished university.
However, the nature of my course means I’ve been in the lab I’m in now for just over 18 months. Not very long really!

I have been working as a plant ecologist for just over 6 years. Over that time there have been quite a few changes and now we are part of one of the oldest research instiutes in the world, Rothamsted Research

Hello Cabbage and Coliflower. I’ve been doing my current job for 3 years. I work in a research centre that’s interested in the process of inflammaiton and inflammatory disease. Before that I was working full-time as a doctor in the hospital for 5 years.

      Hi cabbage and coliflower,

My current job – I only started a couple of months ago! But I’ve been in the science business for over 20 years.

However, if you asked me twenty years ago what I’d be doing now, I would have never guessed I would be directing a research center at a US university. Funny how things work out!
