      No but I’m about to!

My dad never took us on the holidays he went on. I went to France once with my parents, that was before I even went to secondary school.

Since then I’ve been on a few (and I mean about 4) UK holidays.

Next week I’m taking my first ever flight, to Russia! I’m excited but also a bit scared of losing all my stuff 😉

I found at school that a lot of my peers expected holidays every year and had been to a lot of countries. For me, that was a total luxury and not part of my world. I’m looking forward to travelling and I hope I can do more of it in the future.

I think that living in London, and getting to know people from all over the world, has really increased my interest in other cultures. It’s really interesting to see how other people think and share your experiences.

      Hi elmo97,

I’ve traveled an awful lot around the world giving talks. But because that usually means being in hotels and conference centers, I haven’t seen as much as I would like. Some of my favourite places though have been Australia (Sydney especially), Hong Kong and India.

There are loads of places I would still like to visit though. I always really wanted to get to Antarctica, but haven’t managed that yet!

      Elmolini my Italian sesame-st interrogator!

I have been to lots of places in Europe and also in North America and let me tell you this, there’s no place like home! Actually most places could be home. I had to go to Canada to learn that I really wanted to be a good doctor.

If you get the chance to travel widely do so….

No but it is something that I would like to do one day. I enjoying travelling and learning about different cultures, food and way of life. It is something I would like to do more of but I will have to hold fire for a bit due to impending motherhood!

Hi elmo97 again! Yes, I have travelled as far south as Bali and New Zealand which were both fantastic countries. I have also travelled as far north as Bergen in Norway. I love travelling and seeing different cultures and food.:)
