      Hi elmo97

My research experiments used to go wrong all the time when I was in the lab. But I don’t think my life was ever put at risk. Research can be a dangerous business though, which is why I’m in the business of working out what might be a bad idea, and helping people find safer ways of doing things.

Not my life. I did set fire to a piece of equipment but noone was harmed and I’d burned the evidence so I got away with it…

Experiments go wrong all the time!
Fortunately not in such a way that any lives have been put at risk, no 🙂

The nature of the research beast is that things don’t always go to plan no matter how well planned and organised the experiment has been. Fortunately none of the misdemeanours have been serious at all. MOst often you the “mishap” can lead to another new line of inquiry.

The aim of the game is to keep your cool and just run with it really!
