      Hi wozjaztim,

Eventually almost definitely, but we’re probably looking at billions of years before something catastrophic happens to the Earth, like the Sun becoming a Red Giant and engulfing it. Of course, whether humans or even life as we know it is still around then is an entirely different matter.

      Hi wozjaztim,

The Earth will definitely come to an end eventually!
Whether that’s because of our sun expanding and engulfing it (in millions and millions of years, so don’t worry about that…) or something else (perhaps aliens will destroy it to make way for a space highway!), I don’t know.

It won’t be here forever, I think we can be fairly confident of that.

As REM said ‘it’s the end of the World as we know it and I feel fine!’. You cannae worry too much about the apocalypse. If a big Red Giant (‘get in ma belly wee earthlings’) eats the earth we’ll not know much about it.

One thing you can be sure of is constant change. I have no idea how the earth will come to an end but I guess we have to focus on making sure that human civilisation as we know it persists for as long as possible on our home planet and that we aren’t responsible for the extinction of life on the surface of Earth.

Hi wozjaztime. My personal opinion is no but I think it will change over time as it pretty much has done all it’s life. Our human activities on this planet will affect the way it changes too. However, a physicist may tell you a different thing!:)
