• Question: Do you like British Leyland cars

      Hi geoff,

      What are you – a car fanatic or a mature student… or maybe a Jasper Fforde fan? British Leyland went defunct decades ago!

      British Leyland’s heyday was pretty much over by the time I was old enough to drive, so I never really got attached to their cars. Although BL were associated with the original style Land Rover – and I always had fantasies of owning one of them. Sadly, I never managed it!

      I know very liitle about cars. I drive a VW golf and have had to change 3 tyres recently (not ideal). I had to change one really quickly because we had just got off a ferry in the middle of nowhere and had to drive to the next ferry within 20 minutes. I love holidays…
