• Question: Can you make a clone of yourself?

      Hi aimeesmith,

      M personally? No – I don’t have the expertise. But there are some scientists who claim they can clone humans.

      The science and technology are pretty much there to clone humans – the big issues are ethical: Is it right to do this? Many people would say that it isn’t – partly because there are issues with how healthy clones are, and partly because cloning brings up very important questions of human rights, and what it actually means to be a person.

      What do you think – would you want someone to make a clone of you?
